Every summer there is a Renaissance Faire somewhere in the Northeast and Costume Ladies is prepared. Good Queen Bess hangs ready to make her appearance, complete with bumroll and farthingale. Her courtiers and ladies-in-waiting are nearby, ready to be entertained by jesters and served by tavern wenches. There is even a knight in armor, and a chain mail shirt and hood.
Some local residents hold Victorian Tea Parties. Their guests come to our shop for gowns, bonnets and parasols. Not long ago, three friends decided to attend a company theme party as the Andrews Sisters. We supplied the 40s-era suits and the period military caps. We have flapper dresses and poodle skirts, and can dress you like a character from "Little House on the Prairie." Whatever your era, we can help.
